I do not have insurance. Can I still be seen by the physical therapist?

Yes! Please contact our office for cash pricing.

How much do I have to pay if I do have insurance?

Co-payments and co-insurances vary among insurance plans. Check with your insurance provider to determine your benefits for physical therapy. You may also contact our office so we can assist you in determining your benefits.

How long is my appointment?

Appointment times vary among insurance types. You can expect to be in the office for about an hour.

What do I wear to my appointment?

We recommend that you wear athletic wear and closed-toed shoes to your appointment. We do ask that you wear something loose so we can easily access the body part being treated (i.e., wear shorts or pants that can roll three inches past the knee for knee patients and wear a wide neck shirt or tank top for neck/shoulder patients).

Do I need to see a doctor before I can start physical therapy?

You do not need a doctor’s prescription prior to start physical therapy in the state of California. You may be treated by a physical therapist for 12 sessions or 45 days, whichever occurs first. Beyond this time, you can continue physical therapy with an examination and approval of the physical therapist’s plan of care by your physician.

Some health insurance companies still do require a doctor’s prescription to cover physical therapy services. Contact our office so we can further assist you.

What is your cancellation policy?

We understand our days can become overwhelmed. We would appreciate 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment so that we may open your appointment time to other patients.

I was just in a motor vehicle accident; do you take on liens?

Yes, contact our office for more information.
